My name is Lauren Pierce and I came in to this world October 26th of 95′. I am covered in tattoos and piercings and was born and raised in the Dallas, Texas area. I still currently reside in the North Dallas area with my blue pitbull boxer mix, Khloe and am an unmarried widow after losing the love of my life, my significant other of 5 years and Khloe’s daddy, Tyler, to
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in March of 2021.
Ever since I was little, I’ve always had some kind of medical problem… It still continues to this day and that is a big part of why I am here, writing and sharing with all of you! Not only did losing the love of my life play a big role in my decision to begin this journey and hopefully a very long, happy, successful career but wanting the freedom as well, to be able to make my health top priority. To be able to go to any and all necessary doctors appointments without the stress of losing a corporate job and just having the freedom to make my own schedule, which is something that is very important to me. You know, there’s a quote I came across not long ago and it says…
“You are totally replaceable at work. You’re not replaceable at home. Home is your real life. Keep that in perspective. Always.”
And that hit me hard. It’s 1000% the truth! If something happened to any one of us tonight or tomorrow, our jobs would replace us in a split second to keep their company going and making money. There is no way to replace us at home once we are gone.
I’m sure you guys will hear more about new issues that arise while your along for this ride with me but here are some little tid bits about me that you may not find out within the first few (of many) blog posts!
I love me some Starbucks unsweet iced green tea and am completely obsessed with dogs but really, any animals! Another big dream I have for my future is to get some land with a house just north of Dallas and have myself a lil ranch. I’m a big foodie and a huge hockey fan! My zodiac signs are as follows;
Scorpio Sun • Sagittarius Moon • Aquarius Rising
I have a shopping problem.. I can’t help it. I just love and have to have allllll the nice things! I have had chronic migraines for almost 20 years now and was also diagnosed with PCOS a little over 3 years ago. I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and own that personality trait 1000%. I love to travel and see new places which means I have plenty of places I need to check off my bucket list but I am also the biggest couch potato ever. Live concerts are one of my favorite kind of events besides Dallas Stars hockey games! Last but not least, I’m a Mustang girl at heart but a Jeep girl in the making!
I cannot wait to see how this all unfolds and am so blessed to be sharing my life with you all!
My handles are linked below and my DMs are always open💗
From the bottom of my heart,
Thank you so much for being here and coming along for this journey with me. I hope that with anything I share, I am able to help others going through similar things, introduce y’all to some amazing products I cant imagine living without, give some discount codes on all these bomb ass products I will share and maybe even change some perspectives on life just like mine changed last year! If you are in similar shoes with losing a significant other and that is what brought you here, my main goal is for you to know that you are not alone by any means and whatever feelings you may have while grieving are completely valid.
I am always here for you!
